A Smarter Way to Support Pelvic Floor Health
Hypopressives take a completely different approach to core and pelvic floor training. Instead of asking your clients to “do more” with traditional exercises, hypopressives focus on regulating pressure, improving breathing, and retraining the core and pelvic floor to work naturally and efficiently.
Through posture, breath, and nervous system coordination, this method strengthens support without unnecessary strain or effort. It is used by physiotherapists, women’s health specialists, pilates and yoga instructors around the world.
Hypopressives are backed by research and clinical reasoning, giving you a safe, effective way to help teach clients regain function, confidence, and long-term core and pelvic floor health.

What makes Hypopressives different?
-
What sets Hypopressives apart from traditional training? Dual focused training — not only does it restore core and pelvic floor function, but it also recalibrates the nervous system to support deeper, more lasting recovery. This integrative approach promotes overall wellness and functional resilience, rather than just symptom management.
Developed by the International Hypopressives Council team, a collective of leading professionals combining decades of experience across physiotherapy, osteopathy, fitness, and women's health, the method blends movement science with clinical precision. Every technique is purposeful, relevant, and adaptable — ensuring it supports a wide range of clients, from postpartum recovery to chronic pelvic floor dysfunction.
-
The Level 1 Hypopressives Teacher Trainer Training includes (approximately) 15 hours of pre learning which you have continued access to.
The in person training is over 2 consecutive training days.
As a qualified trainer you will gain continued support with the IHC and your direct trainer.

Traditional pelvic floor exercises often overlook the crucial role of the nervous system and designing a program around the functional needs of the body.
Hypopressives addresses this gap, offering a comprehensive approach to pelvic floor restoration. If you've tried other methods with no results, Hypopressives training could be the solution you're looking for to help your clients.

Hypopressives is an extremely safe and effective way to support proper pelvic floor and diaphragm mobility.
That being said, this program is not recommended in it's true form for individuals who are currently pregnant, modifications need to be made. However it is fantastic for postpartum recovery.
Hypopressives isn't suitable for someone who suffers from heart conditions.
Any conditions where it would be unsafe to hold your breath, even for a short period of time (like the aforementioned conditions), would be contraindicated.
If you are unsure you should always consult with the team before engaging in training your clients.
